Why a weblog?

A weblog (a.k.a. "blog") is an easy-to-use web site where you can quickly post thoughts, interact with other people, and more.

Since January 2003 when Greg was diagnosed with stage IV metastatic melanoma, his students, friends and family have reached out to him with their thoughts, kindness, love and prayers. Between intensive treatments communication has been difficult at best. But the phone calls and emails expressing concern and love continued to come. As Greg's fight against cancer intensified, his son James decided to create a place to share thoughts, love and assistance for Greg. The Gregory Coleman Medical Needs Benefit weblog was born.

This site is a weblog. It's been set up so Greg can post news about his condition, and for people to share their thoughts and sentiments with Greg. To use this weblog, just click on "comments" following a post. Feel free to write and post using the "blogger" service that powers this site- you can leave your name using "other" or you can post anonymously or using a blogger login.

Greg needs your love and support to fight the cancer that continues to threaten him. Share your thoughts and your love.
